Vegas 8-25 to 8-27
Another fling at the bi-yearly M.A.G.I.C. (Mens Apparel Garment Industry Convetion) show... was pretty much the same ole same ole. Saw about five movies, ate wayyyy too much good food, one night at gameworks, swimming, and a brisk walk around the convention. But this yeart Playboy had a booth that was close to ours (OTB). And inside..... was, in a word, goddamn! Girl modeling bikinis, playmates signing pictures, and some other more boring stuff. I wish I brought my friggin' camera, but at least I walked away with two signed photographs from the Playmates hehe
Camping @ Green Valley (near Lake Arrowhead) 8-19 to 8-20
Stuff in the trunk
NO tent
NO knives
NO grill
NO water
NO napkins/paper towels
NO shoes (George only)
6 plastic forks
6 "high quality" plastic cups
20 paper plates
large bag of salad but NO dressing
hot dogs but NO condiments and nothing to cook them with
1.75L of southern comfort
1 tub of red potato salad
1 crappy lantern
2 mini-mag flashlights
We ended up cooking the hot dogs on a clothes hanger that we FOUND in the freakin' dirt, probably left behind from the last people who were there. Don't ask how we managed to forget the above mentioned.... we either had it and didn't put it into the car, or just forgot about it althogether. But it didn't matter, we didn't forget to have tons of fun while trekking/climbing through the San Bernardino Mountains... now THAT is real camping?! ::grunt::

Oh man... what a night. All I have to say is: girls kissing each other; unnamed people removed their clothing for no apparent reason; $180 spent on liquor; and I had a crazy good time. Much thanks to the atrium boys - alcohol shark/particle, twins, and army man (sorry, can't think of anything else right now hehe). Posted a few of the ummm.... suitable pictures, IM me if you want the rest ;-)

Phantom of the Opera 8-15
Good show, but it was really, really hard to follow - especially in the beginning. For the record I never COMPLETELY fell asleep, but did a few nod-offs and snapped right back up (which is more than I can say for some people... ahem). Besides, a bit of 'culture' is good every once in a while! Thanks to Winnie for taking me.
Bonfire 8-10
First time to the beach all summer... and just as luck would have it, within the first hour, disaster struck. Was out in the water, trying to catch a good wave with the boogie board... when suddenly, this enormous wave came up. So, since I was too far ahead of it, I decided to approach it diagonally (like normal) and ride over it. Now normally this would have been okay... but the stupid glasses (damn psuedo eye-infection) didn't seem to like it that much and got washed away. Then comes the interesting part, my blind-self (-750/20), looking for my stupid eyeglasses which are so dang small - in the middle of the freakin' pacific ocean. Needless to say, I didn't find them. Not only that, I couldn't find anyone after I got back to shore because I couldn't SEE. After wandering around like a lost dog for a while, I finally managed to find camp which was a huge relief. But anyway, things got better with some beach football - interesting when I couldn't see crap - and scored two touchdowns. Maybe I can join the special olympics football team...
